  • What works? Training and wage subsidies for refugees in Turkey. This piece is being prepared with Jochen Kluve and Hannah Liepmann, with the support of the ILO Country Office for Turkey. It aims to assess the effectiveness of a work-based learning and job subsidy program implemented to promote participation of Syrian refugees and Turkish citizens into formal jobs.

  • Directed Search, Minimum Wages, and Worker Characteristics: Evidence from an Online Job Board . Research conducted with Hannah Liepmann and Damián Vergara. It explores the application effects induced by minimum wage hikes, using data from the largest online job board in Uruguay for the period 2010-2020 combined with industry-by-occupation minimum wages defined in sectoral collective bargaining agreements.

  • How effective are ALMPs and formalization policies in Latin America? This research aims to unveil the effectivenness of various types of labor policies and institutions through a various meta-analysis and systematic reviews of the existing literature. Research prepared with Valentina Calderón Mejía, Elva López Mourelo and Ana María Tribín.
